Better late than never, eh?
I didn't take too many pictures of New Orleans, but I took a couple in the French Quarter.
I started off at the Garden District, which consists mainly of houses. The architecture was beautiful, and we saw a couple houses owned by famous people.
Anne Rice lived here for a period of time. |
Sandra Bullock's house(: |
I definitely thought the horse stall/holds were cute and quirky. They literally lined the streets.

From there, we took the street car to the French Quarter.
Jackson Square |
The square was named after Andrew Jackson. |

There were so many amazing pieces of artwork outside of Jackson Square. Local artists would sit and paint/draw and sell. Their customer base was pretty good also. |
Afterwards, we just kind of ventured around the French Quarter.
There were some really cool architectural bits here. We also saw some musicians and whatnot.
Finally, we finished off the day [and trip] with beignets from Cafe Du Monte. Yum!
Thus, concluded my trip to New Orleans. (:
