Hello Lovies!
Kari: (noun) A crazy, bubbly, tiny girl that has nothing better to do than spend her time on the internet blogging, writing and looking up fashion trends.
So, if you haven't gotten it by now, this page is supposed to be an introductory of sorts. Basically telling you what you're going to get yourself into by reading my blog.
Nine things you should know about me.
1) My friends and family are pretty much the top of my importance list. I have a close group of friends, and it's a bit weird because not all of my best friends are friends with each other, but whenever I ask them to come over and such, they all make-do for me, and I really appreciate that. A lot of my friends don't go to the same school as I do, and I've met them all at various stages of my life. I owe so much of who I am to these five girls, and I know they'll always be there for me, no matter what <3
2) I'm a dreamer. That said, my biggest dream in life is to make something out of myself. I don't want to be forgotten or ignored. I want to impact someone's life by helping them in some way-- big or small.
3) I love reading/writing, fashion, traveling/languages and science. Weird combo, huh? I actually want to go into science when I'm older, maybe in the medical field [see #2] and make a difference that way, but at the same time, I love fashion just as much. I have one friend who's urging me to pursue fashion and start designing/making clothes, but I'm kind of tied between the two. As of now, science wins.
4) I like writing and reading, kind of like a hobby thing. If you're interested, read some of my work ---> Figment
5) I absolutely adore traveling. I'm a big city girl with big city dreams. I love every aspect of traveling: different foods, places, sights. As long as you don't stick me in a jungle, I'd pretty much be up for traveling to any city.
6) Something on my bucket list is to learn a variety of languages. As of now, I know a bit of Chinese, English, I took 4 years of Spanish and I'm taking Latin in school. I want to learn Japanese, [perfect my] Mandarin, and French.
7) I love bright colors, and my favorite color is blue. Any type, shade or variety. Blue is so calming. I however, do not like extremely neon, in-your-face kinds of colors.
8) I'm super girly [or so I've been told] and like any other girl, I like shopping, clothes and fashion magazines. I also have this tiny obsession with Hello Kitty.
9) I'm extremely stubborn and once I have my mind set on something, you'll have a hard time changing it. I like competitions, and I worry. A lot. About everything. And... I'm going to end at 9 because I'm running out of things to say about myself and 9 is my favorite number.
