New Orlean Pictures

Better late than never, eh?

I didn't take too many pictures of New Orleans, but I took a couple in the French Quarter.

I started off at the Garden District, which consists mainly of houses. The architecture was beautiful, and we saw a couple houses owned by famous people.

Anne Rice lived here for a period of time.

I definitely thought the horse stall/holds were cute and quirky. They literally lined the streets.

From there, we took the street car to the French Quarter.

Jackson Square

The square was named after Andrew Jackson.

There were so many amazing pieces of artwork outside of Jackson Square. Local artists would sit and paint/draw and sell. Their customer base was pretty good also.

Afterwards, we just kind of ventured around the French Quarter.

There were some really cool architectural bits here. We also saw some musicians and whatnot.

Finally, we finished off the day [and trip] with beignets from Cafe Du Monte. Yum!

Thus, concluded my trip to New Orleans. (:
